🌿 About Pale Tree Crafts
Pale Tree Crafts began with a lifelong love of making things by hand and a deep appreciation for the places that shape our lives.
Based in the Upstate of South Carolina, Pale Tree Crafts creates handcrafted wood, laser-engraved, and illuminated pieces inspired by local landscapes, everyday moments, and the simple joy of making something meaningful. From personalized keepsakes to cozy home décor and illuminated scenes captured close to home, each design is created with warmth, intention, and a sense of place.
Many pieces come to life at markets across the Upstate, where a portable laser engraver allows items to be personalized on the spot — turning a gift into something uniquely yours.
Whether it’s a small everyday item that makes someone smile, a keepsake that marks a special place, or a glowing lantern inspired by the landscapes of home, the goal is always the same: to create pieces that feel personal, warm, and connected to the places we love.
Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Lori, the maker behind Pale Tree Crafts.
What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a small business built around the things I love most: crafting, photography, and the quiet beauty of the Upstate. Many of the illuminated pieces begin with photographs I’ve taken while exploring local landmarks, forests, and waterfalls.
Pale Tree Crafts is also a family effort. My mom likes to call herself my “silent partner,” but she’s anything but silent when it comes to helping behind the scenes — from crafting pieces alongside me to helping run markets. Some of my favorite parts of this business are the hours we spend together making things and sharing the experience with customers.
Together we love creating pieces that celebrate home, memory, and the joy of finding something that feels just right.
You might also notice the crescent moon in the Pale Tree Crafts logo — a small nod to the matching crescent moon tattoos my mom and I share, and to the creative bond that started this whole adventure.
